Literature Committee
Who are we?
We are the Central Nova Area of Narcotics Anonymous Literature Committee.
What is NA Literature?
NA Literature includes conference approved books and pamphlets in many languages which are proven very important to the growth of the fellowship and to informing others about Narcotics Anonymous as well as key tags, medallions and other supplies that are instrumental in acknowledging clean time for the recovering addict.
What is our purpose?
To ensure and maintain a steady supply of conference approved literature, key tags, medallions and other supplies from the World Service Office for area groups and literature table at area events.
What do we do?
We help to carry the message of recovery by:
How can I be of service?
Where do I sign up?
Come to the committee meeting! There are no clean time requirements to join the committee; however there are clean time requirements to hold some service positions within the committee. Remember, this is YOUR committee; your input is welcome and encouraged.
When do we meet?
We meet on the last Sunday of each month at 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at Mic Mac Friendship center on Gottigen Street in Halifax.
“Everything
that occurs in the course of NA Service must be motivated by the desire
to more successfully carry the message of recovery to the addict who
still suffers.”
